Greenland 1 (Sep 2003)

Narsaq: This is a major village in southern Greenland but has a harbour that is prone to icing. This is because it is located at the sudden widening of the fjord and ice from the fjord drifts into the calmer waters or sea ice spreads here rather than move up the fjord. As is very typical of Greenlandic villages, the buildings are painted in various striking colours.
